HIGHER EDUCATION CHAPTER

Students celebrate the introduction of a new B.Ed (Irish Sign Language) at DCU Institute of Education. The new degree enables deaf and hard of hearing people who use Irish Sign Language (ISL) to enter primary teaching. It is the first pathway of this nature in the history of the State.
